I charge anywhere from 2.5 cents a square inch to 4 cents a square inch depending on the quilting pattern chosen and how dense the pattern is.  An average Twin Sized Quilt is approximately 59x85.  At 2.5 cents, the cost for quilting would be $125.37.

We can discuss what you have in mind for simple custom quilting.  It includes stitching in the ditch, outline stitching, block designs, sashing and border designs.  The charges will be 3 cents a square inch or more depending on the extent of the detailing you would like.

Heirloom Quilting is detailed custom quilting which included cross hatching and background fills.  The charges for Heirloom Quilting is 8 cents a square inch.

If you need me to provide the batting for your quilt, the average price is 27 cents per lineal inch.  The batting for the same Twin Sized Quilt would be $22.95.

If you provide me with raw fabric that needs to be cut pieced before it's used, that cost will start at $20

I charge 25 cents per lineal inch to add binding.  An average Twin Sized Quilt would be $72.  If you provide me with the raw fabric to cut and piece, that will be an additional $25.

If you wish to have a specialized thread used on your quilt such as variegated, the quilting fees may change.

Please make sure that before you give me your quilt top to quilt, that you take the time to press the seams and clip the loose threads.  It makes the quilting process much smoother.  If your quilt top needs to be pressed or clipped when I receive it, you will have the option to reschedule the quilting or allow me to do it at $25 an hour.

If you want your t-shirts sewn together in simple squares or blocks, I charge $18 per square/block.  Quilting/Batting and Binding included.

If you want your t-shirt squares separated or "framed" by fabric, I charge $20 to $22 per square/block.  Quilting/Batting and Binding included.

Sometimes a quilt top just looks more finished with fabric bordering the entire quilt.  That price can be discussed depending on the final size of the T-shirt quilt.
